Do you enjoy writing—or want to give it a try? Join the Creative Writing Club with Mrs. Hoyt after school on Wednesdays. Explore writing in a variety of ways! Your writing pieces can be projects you are already working on and want to continue or you can start fresh with....

You’ll have a quiet, creative space after school to write and get feedback on your ideas. In the beginning, we will have a specific focus each week, such as building characters, creating settings, figurative language, etc. After that we will shift to more conferring in small groups or one on one as needed, and sharing writing with peers. 

When: Thursdays, October 16 – December 18 from 3:30-4:30

Who: 5th & 6th grade students

Where: Mrs. Hoyt’s Classroom, Room #133

*We will have another cycle of this Club begin after Winter Break as well
