Adventures in Learning 2025 Program Details

Get ready for an exciting Summer 2025 filled with opportunities for growth and learning! We are thrilled to offer a dynamic range of Adventures in Learning (AIL) programs, including Discover, Extended School Year, and Academic Intervention Classes. These programs are designed to provide enriching educational experiences and support for students throughout the summer months.

The Winnetka Public Schools will host summer programs at Greeley and Hubbard Woods Elementary schools from June 23 to July 24, 2025. There will be no class on Friday, July 4. The hours are 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Locations: 

Greeley Elementary School will host Incoming Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Hubbard Woods Elementary School will host incoming 5th through 8th grade.

Please note: Registration is based on the students' incoming grade level for the 2025-2026 school year.

AIL: Discover Cost: $725 for residents and $785 for non-residents.

AIL: Discover

Dive into unique and engaging courses that inspire curiosity and creativity. We encourage innovative course ideas that will captivate and motivate students who are also looking for academic enrichment opportunities. Registration will go live on March 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. for Winnetka residents and 9 a.m. March 10th for non-residents.

AIL: Discovery Course Catalog

AIL: Extended School Year

Specialized programs designed for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) who require support beyond the regular school year to prevent substantial regression of skills. ESY is tailored specifically to meet the unique needs outlined in a student's IEP and is provided only to those who qualify based on specific criteria, such as the risk of significant skill loss over school breaks.  This program is by invitation only, and there is no fee. 

AIL: Academic Intervention

Students who qualify for math and/or reading intervention following winter benchmarking will be invited to continue receiving intervention during the summer. This program is by invitation only, and there is no fee.

 



Schedule Changes: 

Schedule changes will be determined based on class availability, class sizes and staffing. There are no guarantees that changes can be accommodated due to the complexities of scheduling and staffing. A Google form for requesting a schedule change is below. No changes will be made after Friday, June 27th.

Refund Policy: 

There is a nonrefundable deposit of $75. Tuition fees will not be refunded after the start of the program on June 23rd.
